What is injection molding?

Injection molding is a manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting molten material into a mold. It is most commonly used with thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers.

How long does it take to make a mold?

Typical lead time for mold making is 4-8 weeks depending on complexity. TakumiTech® offers expedited services for urgent projects.

What materials can you mold?

We work with all major thermoplastic materials including ABS, PC, PP, PE, PA, POM, PBT, and many engineering-grade resins.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We accommodate both small and large production runs. Minimum order quantities vary by project requirements.

Technical Questions

What file formats do you accept?

We accept 3D CAD files in STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, Pro/E, and other standard formats. 2D drawings in PDF or DWG are also welcome.

Can you help with part design?
